Shawn Emanuel, born on the 5th January is an singer/songwriter from West London. In 2003, Shawn toured with singer Kelly Rowland as an opening act for her Simply Deeper Tour and went later on to support Beyoncé Knowles for the European part of her Dangerously in Love Tour.[1] In 2005, he was one of the opening acts on the European leg of Destiny's Child's Destiny Fulfilled ... And Lovin' It tour. In 2006, Shawn was invited by singer Kanye West to join the latter's tour.[2] Shawn was signed to EMI for a 5 album deal.[3]

His First single "Slow it Down" was released on the 29th May 2006 and his second single "U Better Believe it" was released on the 16th October 2006. His album "Dreamworld" was not released due to his departure from EMI in 2007.

Before his deal with EMI Shawn attended the BRIT School and worked with Sabrina Guinness's Charity television station YCTV.

In 2001 before becoming a solo artist, Shawn Founded a group called "ic3", which after his departure (reason unidentified) became "Fundmental 03" and now "FDM".[4]
